Google Developer Student Club

Google Developer Students Clubs are University based community groups for students where students come together to network, share and learn more about google technologies. Students from undergraduate and graduate programs are all eligible to join in the club which creates a diversity of different backgrounds like Business and Administration, Education, Law, Engineering, Design and Technology, the School of Medicine, Social Sciences, the Bishop Tucker School of Theology and Divinity, and Journalism, Media and Communication.

Events

The activities of the Club range from organizing meetups on tracks like Web, Cloud, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. The technologies covered include; Flutter, Angular, Kotlin, Firebase, among others.

The upcoming activities of the club will include; holding meetups, learning sessions, outreaches to connect and help students grow. Areas covered include Cyber Security, Web development, Mobile Development, building of AI models with various tools like TensorFlow.

DSC Leadership

With a sharp vision and mission, The Club recently got a new elected leadership that is highly motivated to create an environment for students to learn, share and grow. The core team members include; Ashaba Joshua Jasper(Team Lead), Mukisa Hassan Bahati (Co-Lead), Gensi Collins, Ssengoba Nabil, Ronie, Atwine Tirzah. These come from diverse backgrounds of study and interest.
