Coding for Kids is a course that involves teaching children basic programming especially those at a young age. It engages the child’s mind in critical thinking and prepares them for an increasingly tech-driven world. At the department of computing and technology, we believe children should have this opportunity, which is why we have this short course, that will teach children how to code in fun and practical ways.

Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language. This course will teach you the core python3 language at a deep level, solve real programming problems with a focus on teaching problem-solving skills, understand python as an object-oriented and functional programming language, create applications that utilize databases, and later expand into Algorithms, Django, Flask, and Machine learning.

This course introduces R programming for data analysis. It is a step-by-step course in which in every class we build on what we had already learned and move one step. The course is packed with real-life analytical challenges which you will learn to solve.
